    You have to have your ISP hooked up somewhere in the mix to get Internet, so the spare DSL modem would need to connect out to your ISP somehow

    Yes that should work – assuming the DSL modem you are referring to has a way to uplink to your current network connection.

    Ethernet over Powerline adapter. The one in the video is made by Corinex.
