<description>In Japan, residents separate their trash into burnable and non-burnable (Tokyo). In places like Okinawa, Japan it is separated into burnable, non-burnable, metalic, pet bottle (plastic bottle), and batteries. With the plastic pet bottles, they even remove the labels and compress the bottles so it is easier to pick up from the curb and process.
