This device is nothing but a glorified flashlight. I purchased it thinking, “wow, only $10. . might as well give it a shot”. And with its 30 day money back guarantee I was even more convinced that I should give it a chance. However, to my dismay I found that shipping/handling was over $40. Upon reading other reviews online, others had similar complaints about the shipping/handling costs – given the size/weight of the device, there is no way it should cost more than $10. And I also discovered that should you send back the device for your money back – only the $10 cost is refunded. . so you’re in the hole not only for the initial “shipping/handling” costs, but also that of the added money it costs you to mail it back. Therefore, you actually end up saving money by just throwing it away and disregarding the ‘money back guarantee’. Do they pocket this extra money? Is this their way of not having to refund us the actual $40-50 we spent in total? Probably. Anyhow, I’ve had Pest Offense plugged in to the wall a little over a month now, and find that it hasn’t done a thing. I still find spiders and other insects, and I even found a centipede in the room it was plugged in (never seen a centipede in my house before). Maybe it attracts bugs? I don’t really know. All I know is that I wasted money that could have been spent on something more useful. . like a charity. Moral of the story: Don’t bother!

piece of junk
Don’t buy, it’s a fraud. Thought I would take a chance at an unbelievable souding item and got just that, a joke.
Its an excellent product which I bought three years ago and it works like a charm. No roach or pest problem. It performs exactly as the manufacturer says it would. The people with negative reviews are either dumb; unable to follow simple instructions or just plain rude. I intend to purchase one for my neighbor. He has a roach problem.
i have had this product for about a month now and i am happy to say my roach problem has been solved. I painted my apartment before i moved in and while i was painting i already notice roaches. I knew i was going to have a roach problem. The first week in my apartment there was a large amount of roaches in my sink and cabinets. Each time i turn on the lights 20 of them will scurry away. Since i have 2 cats, i did not want to fumigate my apartment. I look for a alternative approach to my roach problem and came across this product. I was very skeptical about this product, but hey for $20 why not give it a try. The product state it takes about 3 to 4 weeks for it to be affective. The first week, i quickly saw a reduction in roaches, but i will still see 10 or so, which was unacceptable. Each week i will see less and less. Now it has been 4 weeks and i do not see any roaches in my kitchen. If you have a pest problem, this little device will do wonders. Try it for yourself.

I’ve used these for over 8 years now, and I live in the country. Unbelievably effective. No mice, no centipedes, rarely a spider.
